What do we consider a ready pilot?
The start-ups product or service should be ready to deploy within 90 days, with understanding of typical security, safety, and privacy requirements in a provider setting and have accounted for these in the completed design and development.

Can my company participate from outside the U.S.?
Yes, we encourage people from anywhere in the world to participate.

How will we be notified if we are a semi-finalist/finalist or not?
Start-ups that have been chosen to move forward will be notified by email, which they provided in their application.

I’m having trouble submitting my form and slide deck/video, who can I reach out to?
If you have any problems or questions, please send them to contact@bearinstitutepack.org

Can I make changes to my slide deck/video after submission if it’s before the final submission date?
No, please carefully review your submission before submitting. All submissions are final once received.

Is there a fee for a hospital's participation?
No, there is no application fee for hospitals, but we do encourage you to get involved by becoming a coach, and/or becoming a cosponsor.

Who can I reach out to if I’m interested in becoming a coach or co-sponsor?
When you register there will be a place for you to indicate your interest in becoming more involved in the challenge. If you have already registered but are now interested, please email contact@bearinstitutepack.org.
